A typical workshop day

We don't turn up with a slide deck and lecture your team. Here's exactly what happens — before, during, and after.

1
Before the day
We get to know your team
Once you've booked, we send each attendee a short pre-workshop questionnaire. We ask about their IT comfort level, which tools they already use, and what problems they'd love to solve. This lets us calibrate the session so it's never too basic and never too technical — it meets everyone where they are.

Day of the workshop
We install, we integrate, we go
We arrive and get the tools installed on your machines — we use Claude as our preferred AI (you choose your tool), configured and connected to your Microsoft 365 suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel. Then we run a quick group introduction to show everyone what we're working with before we get into the real work.

The heart of the session
Real problems. Real people. Step by step.
Before the session, we ask everyone to bring one or two real things they deal with every day — a report that takes hours, emails they struggle to write, spreadsheets that are a nightmare to update. We work through these as a group. Everyone watches, asks questions, has a go. By the end, the tools aren't abstract — they're already solving your team's actual problems.

After the workshop
Resource pack + ongoing support
Within 24 hours, every attendee gets a follow-up pack: a reference guide for the tools used, the specific prompts and techniques that worked on the day, and suggested next steps tailored to your team. You also get our contact details for any questions in the days that follow — we don't disappear after the invoice.

Everything you need, nothing you don't

AI tools installed on the day
We handle all setup on your existing devices. No new hardware. No long IT procurement. We prefer Claude but you pick — ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or something else.
Microsoft 365 integration
We connect your AI tools to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint. Your team leaves with AI that works inside the tools they already use every day.
Tailored to your team's literacy
Pre-workshop questionnaires mean we pitch the session exactly right. Not too simple for your tech-savvy staff. Not overwhelming for those who've never used AI before.
Your real problems, solved live
We ask everyone to bring real tasks — reports, emails, spreadsheets, recurring headaches. We work through them together. You leave with things already done, not just theory.
Follow-up pack & support
A written guide of everything covered, the prompts that worked, and what to try next. Delivered within 24 hours. Plus follow-up email support in the week after.
Optional: custom app build
Got an IT team? We can work with them ahead of the workshop to build a simple AI-powered application your business can use the same day — not a demo, a real tool.

We'll build something your team can use on the day.

If you have an internal IT team or developer, we can work with them in the week before the workshop to build a lightweight AI-powered application — a real tool specific to your business, not a generic demo.

By the time the workshop happens, your team isn't just learning about AI — they're using a custom tool built for your exact workflows. The workshop then becomes a handover and training session on something they'll actually keep using.

From people who've been through it

★★★★★

"We've tried AI training before and it always felt detached from our actual work. This was completely different — by the end of the session we had genuinely solved three problems we'd been avoiding for months."

Operations Manager
Professional Services Firm, Manchester
★★★★★

"The pre-workshop questionnaire made all the difference. It wasn't pitched at our most experienced person or our least — it worked for everyone in the room. I'd never seen that done well before."

Head of People
Financial Services, London
★★★★★

"Our IT team worked with Chris beforehand to build a report tool. The team walked in expecting a training session and walked out with a working tool they've used every day since."

Things people wonder before they book

Do we need to be technical?
Not at all. We've run workshops with teams who've never typed a prompt in their lives. The pre-questionnaire lets us pitch it right for your group.
What AI tools do you use?
We recommend Claude by Anthropic — it's the best general-purpose tool for business use right now. But you choose: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini — whatever fits your environment.
What if we already have Microsoft Copilot?
Perfect — we'll work with what you have. We can run the session entirely within Copilot and show your team how to get far more out of a tool they're probably underusing.
How many people can attend?
The standard session works well for 3 to 20 people. For larger groups, we'll discuss format options — we can split sessions or extend the time. Ask us when you book.
What are the travel costs?
Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool are added at cost (typically £20–£50). London involves a travel day — we'll confirm costs before any invoice. No surprises.
Is £250 the total price?
£250 is the workshop fee. Travel is added at cost. If you want a custom app built with your IT team beforehand, we'll scope that separately — usually a few hundred pounds more.

More questions answered

How long does the workshop take?+
The core session is 2 hours. This includes setup, integration, a group introduction, and working through real problems with hands-on time for everyone. We usually allow a 30-minute buffer at the end for questions — so block 2.5 hours in the diary to be safe.
What do we need to prepare?+
Very little. We'll send you a prep guide after booking. We ask each attendee to fill in a short questionnaire and think of one or two real work problems to bring. For software, if you want to pre-install the tools we'll send download links — otherwise we handle it on the day.
Can you run multiple sessions for different teams?+
Yes. Many clients book a second session for a different department after seeing the results of the first. We offer a repeat-booking discount. Ask us about it.
We're outside Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool or London — can you still help?+
Yes. We'll travel anywhere in the UK. For locations outside our standard cities, we'll confirm travel costs when you book. Alternatively, we can discuss a remote session via Teams.
What happens after we fill in the booking form?+
We confirm your date within one working day and send a calendar invite, the prep questionnaire, and the software pre-install guide. Payment is invoiced after we confirm — no money up front.
Is this suitable for a board or senior leadership team?+
Yes — but we also run a separate executive-focused workshop designed specifically for boards and senior leadership. That's a deeper strategic session covering AI governance, opportunity, and risk rather than hands-on tool use. Ask us if that sounds more relevant.
